Chairman's Message

Since 1957, Iskefe has been developing its classic leather collections exclusively from their natural forms, rejecting technologies that, in the last century, have devalued leather through plasticization and contamination with harmful chemicals. Instead, Iskefe continues a tradition rooted in thousands of years of leather craftsmanship, shaped by nature’s pure plants and vegetal oils.

 

As the architect of processing collagen — one of the most valuable proteins ever created — in ways that contribute both to human healing and nutrition, as well as to the protection of foot health, Iskefe has been transforming first the Turkish leather industry and now the global leather sector.

 

By prioritizing materials that support human health and nutrition, while also offering breathable, healthy leathers for footwear, Iskefe’s integrated model across food and footwear industries provides strong control over global raw material resources. This structure enables the company to manage the balance between cost and quality with exceptional precision.

 

In the food sector, Iskefe expresses deep gratitude to the blessed animals whose meat, milk, and by-products — including leather — are utilized with respect and responsibility in every aspect of production.

 

Above all, Iskefe is the spirit of the artisan leather worker — honoring with gratitude the craftsmen who, across three generations and from all corners of the world, have contributed their skill, dedication, and labor to this demanding and meaningful journey.
